The candidate would be involved in managing end to end responsibility of operations for all the Pit stops(changeover stations) in his/her region

The candidate would be required to work closely with all the other functions and the leadership team to ensure complete ownership in managing the operations on the ground. He/she would be responsible for the managing drivers and ensuring that they are motivated. Few examples of the work streams are:

Responsible for overall operation of Pitstop

Driver planning and availability at the Pitstop for incoming vehicle

Driver changeover at the Pitstop within time limit

Toll cash management

Vehicle inspection

Document inspection

Coordination with documentation team for border related documents

To ensure PS to PS transit time of the vehicles by ensure no unscheduled stoppage

Coordinate with operations and planning control team for the placement of vehicle at client locations

Upkeep of the Pitstop infrastructure and assets

Training of the drivers

To maintain the database of drivers for hiring

Deploying technology to revolutionize the way relay trucking works in the network.

Develop new processes and provide inputs to the tech team so that the inefficiencies in the system are removed through technology

Come up with initiatives to optimize cost and efficiencies in the relay network

Ensuring that the wait time of trucks are within the specified limits

Ensuring that all vehicles follow the standard SOP while on the routes and required documents are fully adhered to

Ensure that the lifestyle of truck drivers(pilots) are fully monitored of and are in line with the overall mission of Company. Take innovative steps to improve on the same.

Adoption of technology with the ground team

Establish SOPs to ensure that standardized processes are created and implemented across the organization

1. Responsible for key operational KPIs at the Warehouse. Specifically:

   a) Ensuring OTA and OTD in operations

   b)Capacity utilization and cost optimization of vehicle

   c) DEPS free operations

2. Managing daily operation including planning and scheduleing

3. Managing people during different shifts at warehouse

4. Responsible for vendor KPIs. Managing relationship with vendors. Ensuring 100% performance reviews with vendors

5. Implementing best practice operational processes. Ensuring staff is trained, compliance and adherence to processes

6. Process improvement and excellence

7. Failure node analysis

8. Handling crisis situation in the warehouse
